Subject: Bartlett family

I'm really enjoying reading all the messages on your site. I feel I am learning a lot about your town.
During WWII, while my uncle, Russell Wilson of the US Army, was in Wales, he met Harold Bartlett. He told my uncle that he was related to our Bartlett family from your general area. Elizabeth Bartlett (born 1854 in Abersychan), father: John Bartlett, (Trevethin) mother: Mary Ann James (Nanty-glo)
married John Roberts (Herfordshire). Harold gave his address as: 28 Brookside Row, Abertillery.
Does any of this information mean anything to anyone? Is the Bartlett family still in Abertillery?
