Well I am female which could make a difference but I had loads to do, I went to all the local school youth clubs plus the council one that used to be behind the fire station. Did not like sports was not much good at sewing, basket weaving, cooking or all the domestic arts. So I enjoyed the other entertainments but we did have a room to listen to music, watch T.V. or chat and we were supervised LOL. The Market Hall in my early teenage days and the Jazz club later none of which served alchohol so did not miss out on anything.
