Rome was not built in a day many of the shops have already addressed this problem. The institute a public building now has a lift. The new library I belive will include disabled parking. Some have motorised wheel chairs and depending on where they live in Abertillery will not have to change buses a second time to get home do tesco buses take you to Cwmtillery, Gelli Grug or Blaenau Gwent. Some walk but at least will not have to face that steep hill back up to the town, especially if they had asthma or heart disease. As for the motel or lodgings I doubt Abertillery residents would be using it very much if they already lived here. Visitors I doubt would be accessing the library on a regular basis.
