What is the latest on this? Have there been further developments since this post? Its morally indefensible that private interests, in the form of a company, can destroy the landscape in this way. If anyone knows of further developments please let me know. I am from Abertillery originally and now teach business ethics at the University of Glamorgan. There might be examples of other cases like this where the community was successful - there could be things to learn and apply here is what I mean.
