old friends

friends that worked in thrifty beverage or that worked in the beer company.remember pay day,we would go to dee dee's,get drunk after work.or the crowd that formed and hung out from there.pete slavin,john sheeran,bart savino,the bagels(those were the girls).don,t forget the crowd at carl's honda. you know who you are.it all went by so fast.we should all be in our mid to late 30's.in the last few years,friends from the old neighborhood have been having a get together around christmas time.maybe the last 3-5 years.these are not the same friends from above,but it made me think.if you have contact with anybody from your past,try to stay in touch with them.it's hard,but that's all you have.some of us have families now,and just don't have time.FIND SOME.i made contact last year with a good friend,but for some reason it stopped.it's a shame.maybe in our 60's.
