Subject: Brooklyn (Anniversary) Day Parade

Does anyone remember the Brooklyn Day Parade where all the churches marched together. Boy, I can still see the people who didn't march waving to us from their corners or doorsteps. What togetherness that was.

Yes, there was also the Memorial Day Parade, as well as the Veteran's Day Parade which also ended up at the Canarsie Cemetary. However, the Brooklyn Day Parade ended up back at the church you started from.

What church did you march with? I marched with St. Alban's Episcopal church on E. 94th St. & flatlands ave. My children marched with the Christian Church of Canarsie on E. 89th St. & Flatlands ave.
