adoption is a great gift to give to a child.............i just weish there wasn't so much red tape involved which discourages many peoplke from doing it. yes finger-printing is important,as well as a home-study but to ask for 5 years of income tax records,as well as an increase on your life insurance on behalf of the child. these kids would be no where...they make adoption for only the rich. it is ridiculous! :(

To adopt you only need to show last 2 yrs irs forms and no more .I guess it depends on your state. We entered and in 5 mnths we had suitability and 6 mnths of legal process. It cost under 15 grand which you can borrow from a bank or FOUNDATION .The money is easy to get .You dont have to be rich to do it.In fact the rich DONT do it.If they cant have a kid in bed they go to the invitro clinic. They rarely want to adopt out of love as an alternative to save a life.87% of all usa adoptions last yr were with families with annual income under 75 000.And 2 people working.Definitely NOt rich." school teachers earn that much.
