Because I am bored, I have compiled a summary of the previous battle posts and a very brief analysis (in all CAPS) of the three major technicalities of role play fighting: dodging, accepting hits, and powerplaying.

Ziraga: Turning to the fairly haggard bay, he nods an acknowledgement. "But Kamani, in hesitating you have forfeited your first-move advantage." Shifting his weight as though merely in impatient, he suddenly lunges forward, with all his weight and might, front hooves lashing forward and teeth grabbing for the other's vulnerable throat.
NOTHING TO DODGE
NOTHING TO ACCEPT
DID NOT POWERPLAY

Kamani: Choking down a scream of terror, the ragged young bay quickly rears, managing to meet his attacker's hooves with his own in the nick of time. However, long gashes appear where the other's nails scrape along his legs and he whinnies a stilted warcry, dodging the other's snapping jaws and sending his own forward to intercept the other's reaching throat.
DODGE
ACCEPT HITS
DID NOT POWERPLAY

Ziraga: Predicting this highly obvious form of defense/counterattack, the golden stallion snakes his head and neck out of the way.... and takes advantage of the fact that the other has put his sensitive ears at risk. Reaching down with his surprisingly strong equine jaws, he grabs onto the right ear and pulls, almost certainly causing rather high levels of discomfort.
DODGE
DID NOT ACCEPT HITS
SOME POWERPLAY

Kamani: Realizing his mistake too late, he is well aware that pulling away would only cause injury and quite possibly tear all or part of his ear off. So instead he spots a possible vulnerability, his hooves lashing wildly out towards the other's front, hoping the gold will release his ear while attempting to defend himself.
DID NOT DODGE
ACCEPT HITS
DID NOT POWERPLAY

Ziraga: The palomino whinnies in pain as the other's hooves strike exactly on the mark, tearing painful gashes in his front from which lifeblood swiftly seeps. Rearing instinctively and therefore releasing the grip he had on Kamani's ear, he strikes out with his hooves at the bay's head, seeing as it is still in a vulnerable position.
DID NOT DODGE
ACCEPT HITS
DID NOT POWERPLAY

Kamani: With a ferocity borne of virtue, self-deprecation, and self-preservation he battles. Spying the attack from above in due time, he slips out of the way, receiving only a nasty gash on his left shoulder. Twisting quickly out of the way, he slips his head back under the King's, grasping again for the vulnerable throat.
DODGE
ACCEPT HITS
DID NOT POWERPLAY

Overall:
3 posts each
Kamani - 2 dodges, but 3 accept hits; no powerplaying
Ziraga - 1 dodge, and 2 accept hits; 1 powerplaying (grabbing ear and only allowing response for pain)

May I request that the battle be segregated? Out of character things reply to this (first main response in thread), the battle in another (second main response in thread), and onlookers in a third (third main response in thread). That will make things easier to keep up with.
Since that may sound confusing, here's a diagram (and I'm still bored):
