Nut meats float to the surface and form a nice, lovely crunchy tooping on these indavidual rum-flavoured custards!!!>-)

3/4cup egg yolks (11 12)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon rum-flavouring
3 cups light cream or milk
1/2 cup sliced almonds or Brazil nuts!

Beat egg yolks with salt, sugar, rum flavouring, and cream. Pour into 6 custard cups (6oz. or 3/4 cup size); sprinkle with nuts. Set in a pan of water half the depth of custards. Bake in moderate oven (350*) until custard tests done in centre, about 35 mins. Serve warm or cold in custard cups. Make 6 servings.
