Aren't you glad you got out of Columbia? What a dull town, although the art museum is good. I heard a local radio show in which the organizer of some holiday celebration there said that Columbia is "the Times Square of South Carolina." I almost veered off the road because I was laughing so hard. The state has such an inferiority complex and on one hand, reviles "yankees," particularly NYers, yet begs to be compared to and more like NY.
