What she is is a ringer like Clarence Thomas without the academic chops, but the problem with ringers is you can sometimes shoot yourself in the ass with them-viz, the late unlamented Harriet Myers.

All kidding aside as my wife said it shows that McCain is still shooting from the hip and would therefore be unpredictable in command. She said the Republican party is goofy if they think this is going to do significant damage to the demo's chances.

It also shows how little the republican party understands about what's going on in the rest of the country, what the Hilary Clinton campaign was all about that they would go along with this walking self destruct program.

what they don't understand over there in the Red States is that a woman is defined more by what's between her ears than between her legs. They just do not seem to get that. This one seems to be a life support system for a vagina, nothing more.

I think you may be correct about this being one of the more monumental political blunders in the last few years. Rarely do we get bleacher seats to such a monumental screwup. The dirt will come out, mind you, and operatives are busily digging for it.

Also, look on the bright side of things for the creationists. This just proved, as was said about Sam Grant, that the theory of evolution was a damned lie.
