McCan't's mistake has so many facets it's hard to count them all. It is impossible to believe that any swing-voting former Hilary supporter would vote for this woman.

She is involved in Big Oil corruption in Alaska, as will come out. She is less prepared to be C-in-C than even Dan Quayle. Her support for taking "Creationism" seriously in schools puts her smack-dab in the capital of Moronia (formerly in Kansas)

I can't even begin to imagine what McCan't and his team were thinking. Even if she solidifies his standing among the Republican "core," they're so wildly out-numbered by moderates and liberals that it becomes pointless, and the extent to which she'll alienate the middle and left will just be icing on the cake for Obama.

Is this the biggest blunder in American politics in the last 100 years? I think it might be (and the thought fills me with joy!).
