Nope that was the required undergraduate course that did have lectures in the common room once a week and met in classrooms to discuss reading and lecture assignments.
The community Meeting was where the students participated in the governance of the college community and helped set some rules and other things for how we were supposed to deal with the college social and academic scene.
We had a community leadr elected by the student body to represent us to the board and the administration and later an actual student board member.
Louis Hepburn was the president ( thiunk that was the righr title but not sure ) of the student body when I came in 67.
Dave Schrodel was our first student board member on the board of trustees.

We elected people for enforcing the rules decided on to serve on a judiciary panel as well as discussing things of importance to members of the community from all sorts of angles.
They were also held in the common room/lecture hall or whatever it was called at various times.
