Nick Howe's office (down on the 2nd floor) was barn red, and I fell in love with the color, so authentic, so rural. I decided to paint my room barn red and went to the hardware store. Unfortunately, they were out of that color, so I decided to experiment with a quart of high-gloss industrial orange enamel.

I applied it to the water pipes that ran across the ceiling to the sprinkler in my room. The one time I got a girl in there, she was saying "yes" until she looked up. Then she started saying, "No," which soon became "No! Nooo! Ahhhh!" She had a bad trip and I had to take her outside where the fall colors could soothe her tortured psyche.
