many people have different ideas why the college died.
i think it was a sign of the times. the hippie movement died so did the schools built of the ideas of that time.
money was tight at the time in the country and people want an education they could get that was seen as a way to make money.they wanted the paper for the wall.
some other colleges lived longer because they had stronger roots.
in time of money problems across the globe many things die.just as they do today they did before and will in the future.
you can't freeze time.
