I am not sure what you find rude and classless, Nancy.
The item I found horrendous was comparing living in the HUDS to waterboarding. Many first year students were placed there, or students on financial aid. It had many defects, BUT comparing it to to a means of torture like waterboarding, make me want to, let's just say it feels like there is a hairball in my throat.
