I missed all that time frame of sesame street since I was working full time during that era. I do remember they mentioned a few of the things the street was doing and vauguely remember the breast feeding sqwauk when that happened. But Public TV was under different rules than broadcast and it was not clear what was allowwed and what not. seems rather stupid now that something so natural was a subject of outrage by some when kids have no reaction to that and a lot of them were either just past that age or saw it taking place at home.
Musta been the moral outrage fringe that got on their high horse and flagged it ....
