Senator Obama is the best choice to lead our nation; and despite this conservative hack garbage posted here he is fully committed to protecting us from our enemies. On the other hand I have seen very similar partisan bullshit coming from the Democrats; and I am sick of partisan carping. This is the main problem I see with partisan politics today, one side cannot help itself from demonizing the leader of the other side. This country has far too many challenges right now to keep dissolving into partisan bickering and finger pointing.

The next president has to oversee the restructuring of a seriously fractured finance and securities "industries" and a punched-out banking system. He will have to also begin to move our nation away from using so much oil and to using more alternative fuels and power sources. -All this while dealing with our enemies. It is my judgment that Barack Obama is the man for the job.

I find the odds of anyone sworn into that office being faced with a possible war with a nuclear Iran also to be high. This is why I pray that God guides the hand of our president; no matter who he is; he will be my/our president -and he will have my prayers and support. A number of us may be voting for different candidates this election; but the challenges our next president will face are indeed immense!

Actually I am voting GOP for my Congressman and Senator. Our Democratic Senator votes the party line no matter what -ignoring his constituents. Actually both Dem Senators here vote a liberal agenda no matter what the people in general feel. They do not represent the average NJ resident very well. My congressional representative -a moderate Republican is retiring and I am voting for state senator Leonard Lance -a pro-choice moderate Republican and Dick Zimmer against Lautenberg who needs to go back into retirement.

I am voting Democrat for my local town council.

I am not reluctant to cross party lines. How about you?
