I believe you are correct Dawg the last year with trimesters ?
Al CAtheron told me it actually got down to -64 that night then warmed up to the minus fifties. Same week that the temps stayed in the -20s.
It was dry enough you really didn't notice how cold it actually was and stepping out in the morning it felt like about 30 above.
There was at least one guy at PAradise who froze his hair after his morning shower just by stepping out on the porch.
The VW started up but the tranny was stuck in second where I had left it the night before and would not turn until the afternoon and running the car for an hour or more with the clutch held in so it would churn the transmission oil a bit and warm things up. That was the day that it snowed about ten inches so we were trying to make it simpler to get out of the parking area on the gale river side and I parked on the slope since I had shakespere first thing that morning.
Al picked me up near aldrich's and told me a few more feet and I was a candidate for frostbite.

Not bad here it was only 12 this morning with a minus seven windchill then warmed up to 18 and zero respecfully later on topping at about 23 and 18 before the winds stopped.
hell the ice snow actually melted a bit to crunchy from hard as a rock.
I heard about your situation and was wondering if you were frozen in over there in gods country on the prarie.
New england is still getting lots of snow but we are not that bad off here by comparison to most of the northlands.

Happy holidays to all.
