I'm glad we're on the same page on this one. I certainly agree with you that the whole push to wholesale "de-regulation" (which includes Clinton's irresponsible de-regulation of the media in the tele-communications act!) is a baby/bathwater problem.

You and I actually agree in principle, I think, on the idea of "that government governing best that governs least." But as you declare you recognize here, there is an appropriate role for government to play in (what comes down to) protecting people from corporate power.

You are now one more living proof that you don't have to be a Democrat to do the right thing!
