It was stated at the last meeting that the rules were not going to be changed. It would be stupid to change anything now. If you change anything for someone now you will have to change everytime someone isn't happy. The only time that anything needs to be considered for a change would be for safety only. Let's all use this year as a learing time and make changes next year. Noboby can tell what issues or headaches will arise. We just need to make the best of what we have to work with and make any improvements next year. But if anone wants to have a input they have to attend the meetings. If we keeping posting and griping about everything this board will look like the NMMA message board. I think that there has been alot of progress made for no more help than the few people handling it have gotten. No one wants to help with commities, or work at the track.
I am not happy with everything that was decided. The only thing that I can do is see how things go and ask for changes next year. The bottom line is that we all have the same rules that everyone has to abide by.
This post is not directed toward Kirk or any one person, but is for everyone that wants to make this a complaint dept. like the NMMA message board has turned into. Let's all see what we can do to make this thing grow. Maybe in a year or two we can race for pay instead of pay for racing.
