If my sister were "spared" genetic mutation I would be extremely jealous of her but very thankful that she would be safer than I am. If she got the genetic mutation than I would feel so guilty and terribly upset. I probably would have a hard time dealing with it and would not be much help. I think now that I put thought into these scenarios I would definitely want to be the one with the genetic mutation. My sister is very strong and would probably be a great source of support, comfort, and love.
