I would try to relate to Sherry and work her through the isolation stage by reminding her that there are many, many people that do have ovarian cancer. I think sending her to a support group would help tremendously and also talking with her and her sister. Although her sister feels guilty she has to be strong and help Sherry through the cancer and remission. Hopefully, with counseling and talking with them the bond of sisterhood will deepen between them.
