I completely agree with Devon in saying that is completely normal for someone to have feelings of lonliness and isolation after being diagnosed. I too, would do my best to make sure she did not feel she was the only one in the world battling something like this. There are millions of women in the world struggling with cancer, and one of the only things that can help them because there is no cure, is family support. She should allow her sister to be there for her during these rough times.
