Yes, there is no cure for Alzheimer's disease and there is a good amount of stress placed on Janet's family. Due to the great possibility of her getting the disease. It was a good idea for Janet to get tested so that she can have time to prepare herself. She should spend the time that she has being healthy with her loved ones. I think the person who should decide who constitutes a good or bad reason is Janet herself, she is Janet herself. If Janet did not tell her family about her problem, they would have no time to prepare themselves for the tough road ahead.
