Is it just me, or did the last episode of Lost have an element of Buffy's "Normal Again" to it?

I think one of the things we all liked about Buffy and Angel was that, in spite of the fantasy, there was a certain coherence. That is, the writers tried to make things make sense in Buffyverse, at least. To me, it seems that the writers of Lost are doing the same thing.
