I'll second Arethusa with my appreciation of your response.

Without getting into too much of the way of spoilers - a lot of your observations about Angel are in line with issues we were hoping to raise - so it makes me feel good that we're communicating the things we wanted to.

The chaos, for us, was very much a key - we wanted to address the very likelihood that the fallout from NFA wouldn't be neat. And this is, in particular, a challenge for Angel because he is not comfortable dealing with chaos and uncertainty.

Which is another reason for us to subject him to those conditions - we wanted to take our characters and test them - and to test them in ways that are really fitting to each character after S5...
