Subject: A Japanese booking idea for FanFest in September

I was inspired to post this idea after reading the results of New Japan's 11th annual G-1 Climax tournament (surprisingly won by Yugi Nagata). This is probably the top heavyweight tourney in Japan (a country heavy in such booking practices).

I thought about how the G-1 brackets hold 12 workers. If Acadian Giant is back in September, and you can bring one more person over, you have 12 R.A.W. workers. Why not span such a tournament over the two days for a Real Action Wrestling annual title?

Here's how G-1 works: two divisions of six. Each wrestler wrestles the five people in his division. Two points for a win, one for a draw, none for a loss. The two who top their divisions in points wrestle in the finals.

That gives you 31 matches: plenty to spread about over a number of days. Or if you want to pare it down to 10 workers, that gives you 21 matches. That's very reasonable and creates a novel idea to use your established workers and put them over to some fans who might not attend that many R.A.W. shows.

Just a thought.
