I do thank you for your sympathy, and know you understand what I am going through. I am doing just fine...and with our Lord's blessings...I will be back to normal soon.

I find it very interesting that you feel you have to defend your husband. This has been a first. As I have said often before, if he is the fine and upstanding man and breeder that he wants everyone to believe, why do you and others have to defend him? He has been one of the most abusive people on the boards until this past year or so when he decided to try a different image. This new one...Mr. Good Guy and Everybody's Friend...doesn't change the fact that he still continues to ridicule and bash breeders who really ARE trying to the best for the boerboel. Take the last two tries at Proffers Kennel, for instance.

First time he copied a post from her message board where she described mid-wifing with her bitches that were whelping. He tried to bash her about caring properly for her dogs. His answer was to let nature take its course. If the bitch and pups die, let them die. Well, he got his comeuppance on that one, didn't he? He wound up looking like the schmuck he is.

Second time, he butts in about an experimental litter to condemn her again. Real Mr. Nice Guy and upright citizen...especially when he had no facts to work on. Any person who would take a large pup out of a crate it had been in for 12 hours, take it on a 4 mile hike, and then let an adult dog pummel it all around the floor should have expected the poor thing to be sore and nervous. Most people would realize the pup needed time to adjust to its new surroundings...for a few days maybe...evidently this Cat didn't. Also turned out that the Proffers had been perfectly honest in all their dealings with the litter...as they always have been to my knowledge. The main thing here is...this was NONE OF HIS BUSINESS!

You and your husband would NEVER had heard anything from me if he had been MAN ENOUGH and DECENT ENOUGH to have replaced a dead pup...that he didn't properly immunize before shipping it...with a healthy pup instead of the crippled dog he sent Mandy. And he had no reason whatsoever to treat her and myself the way he did on the boards. If he is the KNOWLEDGABLE DOGMAN he's tried to convince everyone he is, then he would have never send anyone a dog that stood with it's back always hunched, that had no hindquarters, a chest less than 3 inches wide and that was so toed out that it couldn't walk properly. The dog shuffled...that was all he could do when he WOULD move.

So if you think my accusations are groundless, well...all I can say is that you are married to him. And I do feel true sympathy for you in that. Too bad he can't take up for himself.
