Angela, I am about to leave and won't be back on until tomorrow, But I couldn't leave without telling you that I will knuckle down and find the latest, current, if not presently ongoing research on that specific question just as hard/ harder than I have looked so far for the most current explanations and descriptions. I have thought the same thing many times and asked myself the same question. The answer is not readily available and I have never seen it meantioned, Mainly I believe because no one wants to give false hope that might discourage spaying or neutering and allow sick pups to come. If there is an answer, I will do my best to find it. Too late for me but hopefully not for others. Once again I never meant to hurt your feelings or insult your sweet Nala. Ed
