Subject: dog history

I truly enjoy looking at old leopard history. I like the old yearbooks, pedigrees, dog photos and especially personal experiences. Several of you were fortunate to hunt with many of the foundation stock and many older leopards. Believe me I envy you. While looking at a coule old yearbooks on this cold weekend I have a couple to ask about. 1st Burr Oak Preacher owned by Bob Munson. I remember Sherman Borders speaking highly of him. He was considering breeding his Yell-o-belle female to him. Can't recall if that happened or not? You rarley see him in a pedigree. Lets hear from a few fellas on him. Next would be a dog owned by a fella I felt fortunate to call a friend. The dog was Bennitt's Hoosier Matt, owned by Dale Bennitt. I believe Dale got him out west. Kansas comes to mind? Anyone hunt with him or know if he was bred? He was I believe the last living son of Matt Dillon(Buckhorn Valley Matt). would also like to hear from anyone that was fortunate to hunt with Bennitt's Buck and the Black Gal. If you have an intersting story about a dog not mentioned above feel free to ring in!
