Perry,
To answer your question about "Burr Oak Preacher", everyone that knew or hunted with him ,knew him as "Block".Yes Sherm did breed him to Belle. I had a nice blue male from that litter that started early. A friend had been hunting him for me and coyotes killed him. Don't know what happened to the rest of the litter. I only bred Block to a couple of females. I was mainly a hunter, and I guess you'd have to say Block was a once in a lifetime type of dog. He was a stand on the tree every breath treedog. No tree or dog fight in him. He would tree a layup that hadn't been on the ground, or an old long gone track just about any night of the year that you took a notion to pull your boots on. I kept him til he died of old age. I guess I'll go back to lurking now. Good hunting fellas, Bob Munson
