Positioning has nothing to do with it - visit www.olbort.at - he is the expert with the big dish set up and he has reported nothing under 2m for all weather reception in Vienna/Lower Austria/Burgenland - it's bad news unless you have freindly neighbours and a big garden.

some areas of Lower Austria offer BBC1, BBC2, BBC3, BBC4 amd CBeebies via cable! Take a look here for the map:
http://www.kabsi.at/produkte/versorgungsgebiet_produkte.html

and here for the channel list:
http://www.kabelsignal.at/tvpro.html
- site only in German - click "Englisch" from the options available.

A guy I know has tried to set this up and you need a cable connection on your garden or wherever you live.

Hope this helps some folks in Austria :)
