 As many of you know the BBC charter is up for review. Now is the chance for us to have our say and try to get a few changes. Hopefully not just for the BBC, but for access to all UK TV. The major request is legal access for UK expats (and others willing to pay) to UK TV anywhere in europe. Other countries do this perfectly well by having subscription of the encrypted channels at an equivalent payment to their licence fee (Switzerland where I am resident certainly does and Swiss TV can be viewed by anyone in europe who wishes to subscribe to the satellite service). The UK could do this too. With an estimated 500,000 expats currently viewing SKY and the FTA channels "illegally", we should be a group they can't ignore.
