it's a question of personal taste. the simple, fragile, small john frusciante from californication, in my opinion, is much more interesting musically than the current one, full of hendrixianisms and mathematics. and the stadium attitude is really weird. you know, the running and making faces stuff... i can't look at my slane castle dvd no longer. it's a strange feeling. and them i think about stockton '98, sao paulo 99... man, the best chili peppers' song released this year is - 100% sure - quixoticelixer, and this is really emblematic. -- Tribute To Beeninsane
