You know I read Rox's response just above and realized something that I need to confess that I have known for a while. I started writing Characters & Shadows with an awesome idea that came to me one night - to take Section One and make it into a play. Then all those amazing scenes that we all watched could be analyzed by the people playing the roles. It would have been a whole different way for us to all re-live those wonderful scenes that we watched over and over.

I thought it was a great idea and off I went to writing it. I'm not sure when it happened in the process, but it quickly went where I didn't want it to go. I wanted it to be a character study and to bring questions about the series and to make us all think about things again, maybe in a different way.

But none-the-less I failed in my attempts at what I was trying to create. When I went back and reread it I realized that as Rox so aptly put it, I was forcing it and parts of it are Crap. It just isn't good writing at all. I mean it's not horrendous per se, but it isn't good and it isn't what I intended it to be.

That is why I am in such a dilemna at the moment. I don't want another unfinished story. That drives me insane. So I am asking myself, should I finish it in a minimum number of chapters, which would mean more forcing it but at least it would be done? Or should I go back and pick up what I thought was a very good story Good & Evil?

Some of you were reading Good & Evil and as I re-read it I realized just hpow much better it was than C&S. I could re-post it in it's entirety to catch everyone up (which I will do anyway) or finish the other story?

I guess I will leave it up to you all at least to a point. I need to write something. My muses are screaming at me and I miss doing it. I love to post new chapters and to watch as you all keep me on the straight-and-narrow and let me know what you think about it. So I need to write soemthing but I'm not sure what.

Let me know what you think. If you want to send me a private email that is fine and my email is available in the post.

Thanks to all of you for taking the time to read what I write and for being honest about it. It means an awful lot to me,

Mary
