Because your dealing with a brand new set up, my recommendation would also be start from scratch. Uninstall the software, unplug the unit and follow the instructions from the beginning. Also, please answer these questions?

- What Windows OS are you using?
- Does the Windows version recognize the Palm cradle when you plug it in to the USB port?
- Are you syncing to Palm Desktop or Outlook?
- If Palm Desktop, Does you Hotsync ID on the Palm Desktop match the T3?
- Does the Hotsync Manager icon appearing in your Windows icon try?
- Are the hotsync conduits all setup properly?
