It wasn't bad sounding at all. I personally am a huge fan of JBL. We sold the L112's, L96, L56 and L46's and the whole JBL line was eventually phased out. (no pun intended)

With the culture created by some of the higher end shops at the time, Myself along with a couple of the other Wireheads who worked there basically concluded the Sound Store was trying to sell stuff that did not appeal to most in the area.

Don't get me wrong, There was some good stuff but to phase out JBL? Anyway, it kind make you miss places like TV Parts, The Listening Post, Central Radio & TV and RPC Electronics and who knows how many others in town back then.
