I remember well one New Year's Eve when Del Taylor was doing the weather on the 11 o'clock news, and there must have been very little news because they were filling the time with a lot of chatter. Del began the weather show by saying that the news programs had done a lot of year-end reviews, so perhaps it might be time to take a look at the weather and "have a rear-end review."

There was much laughter on the set. At our home, Mom and Dad debated whether the TV people had partaken any of the bubbly just yet, or whether this was simply a wonderfully funny coincidence.
