When I first read this, I agreed. But then I realized it wasn't so much that radio had changed, but that I simply got older and my tastes improved. Listening to old air checks from yesteryear, I realized that most of my memories of how great things were back then were the result of my mind filtering out the bad memories, leaving only the good ones.
I miss the old days of radio because I miss the old days when I was young and easier to impress.
