I think Garage Rocker has a good point. For my part, I use radio differently today than I did in 1987 or 1967. In my case it's due to age as well as the evolution of the medium. Also, the way people listen to music has changed enormously. With the advent of iPods, streaming music services, MP3s, etc., the paradigm is no longer KQV vs. KDKA, AM vs. FM or CHR vs. AOR, but MY music vs. SOMEONE ELSE'S music. This is one of the industry's fundamental challenges.
