Thanks for the high marks, but people should know that the "skill" to which Dennis and Martha refer is said in a humorous tone.

Black-backed woodpecker had successfully eluded us through the entire trip. When we returned to camp on Sunday morning to pack up and leave, a Black-backed woodpecker, notoriously sneaky this time of year, showed up right on our campsite!

Luckily, it stuck around long enough for me to jump in the car, drive across the campground, and get the other members of the party (who had begun breaking camp). In the end, everyone got superb looks at an often-difficult bird!
