In reply to: Go Green 's message, "Ivy Preseason Poll" on 13:04:38 08/04/25 Mon

Pretty much what I expected for Cornell with the graduation of QB Jameson Wang, 2025 is probably a rebuilding year. Again I think if Cornell ever wants to dig out of the Ivy cellar we need to improve the running game.

Another suggestion is to play the Cornell vs. Columbia game in NYC every year. It's a wasted game in Ithaca with the weather and half the students have bolted for Thanksgiving break that weekend.

I still think Cornell is a year (perhaps two) away.

But Big Red recruiting appears much improved from my standpoint.

As for the C-C game, while crowds might be better in NYC, it's not my impression that Wien Stadium is packed when the Big Red is the Lions' opponent...

It's been my impression the crowd is respectable, with Cornell and their NYC area alumni base holding up the bargain well. They also tend to bring the band, which adds to atmosphere.
