As a hardened Libertarian and not a Nazi I was tempted to send a letter to our Senatorial representative in Congress, Sen. Larry Craig and ask him if he endorsed this idea from the Bush Administration. Apparently, no one has read History in the White House for if they had they would have recognized the similiarities of TIPS to the Nazi movement in Germany which Mrs. Adele Fleming explained to us after coming back from a vacation in Germany in 1935. She thoroughly explained to us the terrible consequences (in 1952 at a private school)of putting too much power in the hands of too few people by obedient children. She also explained the passing of the pendulum from the Right to the Left which was also just as bad. I remember this as though it were yesterday although it was a half a century ago. Hey! who was it said that those who don't learn from History are destined to repeat it again and again and again. I betcha I didn't get the words quite right but got the gist okay. I think his name was Sant...something? I think I'm going to write Sen. Craig anyway and award him the Nazi Certificate for Naziness if he agrees to support the TIPS program. Yours, Michael A.
