Hey, guys! I'm thinking when the spoiler says "Paul and Emily share a moment" that's probably exactly what it is. A momentary nod to their old History together. And like you say emachrh ... Emily is just way too busy with her own sad sorry little life to even think about Paul again. She thinks he is an idiot and a loser, in any case ... according to the last time she ragged him out.
