He is furious with Meg ... and very very hurt. He wants his feelings for her to be firmly in the past. But, intellectually wanting something ... and actually feeling it are two very different things. Like a lot of people Paul thinks that if he wants it to be so ... it already is. Basic "emotional survival" trap. So yes ... I firmly believe that Paul was telling the truth. It's just not the "real" truth. Hee! And isn't that always the way in these kinds of circumstances. Sigh. Puck summed it up in Midsummer's Night Dream when he was laughing about human love. But, again like you ... there was an undercurrent that I couldn't quite put my finger on. It didn't seem like Paul would fold so easily. Yeah ... he's desperate to move on and start a life anew ... or would that be a (re)new with Ro? Grin. But for all of Paul's good intentions I just can't see him resolving his vendetta against Craig so easily. Nor should he in my opinion. Craig should pay. And speaking of Craig ... wasn't it interesting that amidst all of Ro's "truthiness" she neglected to mention the BIGGIE. She is colluding with Craig. Once again she has gone behind Paul's back (last week and then again this week) fell back into gaming with Craig ... and is manipulating Paul's Life (and love). Again. Ro has gone back to her old ways. She's using the same "fragile flower" affect with Paul, too. It would seem real ... except we saw her barking at Craig to put the blocks to Meg. Heh. Ahhhh....Yes, Tat - The BIGGIE! She didn't mention her plotting behind Paul's back with his enemy, did she? So - we DO NOT have full disclosure. And you saw that something that lies beneath the surface, too? Good. I am not just seeing things - LOL! Another great point you bring up is how we see the real Rosanna when she is out of Paul's presence - Wonder when he will see it, too? I agree that Paul WANTS to move on - desperately trying to recapture a moment in time - to save himself from his self-proclaimed 'addiction' to Meg.....I just don't believe for a second that it's working.
