And on Friday's show, Roger just broke my heart when Paul told Meg that he couldn't stand it if anything happened to her and she thought that he hated her. The emotion in Roger's voice made me cry and took me back to when Rose died thinking Paul had poisoned her. Paul told Ro that it was a sentence worse than death that he didn't have a chance to tell Rose how much he cared for her and that he would never hurt her. But that's Roger. . .he packs so much emotion into a scene using his incredible voice, facial expressions and body language that I'm constantly blown away by his phenomenal portrayal of Paul Ryan. One of my favorite episodes from 2003 (10/31): James: "I knew you would be thinking of me this evening. It warms your father's heart that you remembered him on his birthday." Paul replied, "I forgot just why I did hate Halloween, all those tortured souls wandering the earth." And then Paul answers his door to find Barbara on the other side. RH, Colleen and Anthony were fabulous in this episode.
