Subject: The hardest thing we ever do is admit to a mistake. I would hope no judge would ever hold it against your daughter. I would also be saddened if the state director held it against her either. After all we all have to learn the ropes. You were just a loving mom who was hurt by all the posts. I totally understand as I have been hurt as well. I saw your daughter and she sure has a great body please tell her to hang in there. She is lucky to have you as a mom. Many just insult others and never see their way as wrong. I know many girls are left out that should not be. It is the publics loss many of these not so in girls have more than any of the winners. Author: Another mom. I have heard stories where judges want to see how a girl can handle herself under pressure and so some will try in intimidate, not because the DIRECTOR told them to, but because that is thier interviewing style. I think the director will try to explain what type of person makes a good miss usa, but wouldn't say i want a particular girl. I think the judges were just inexperienced and unfortunately did not pick my girl, but that is the way it goes sometimes. I really don't think the pageant was fixed. (NT) -- jan, 18:36:06 10/01/03 Wed
