If you have jib furling it makes all kinds of sense to simply keep it. Jib furling works!

I'm of a six of one half dozen of the other on headsail furling systems mindset. Buy another headsail and keep the one that is already there... hey presto yuu are ready to rock and roll.

My advice to most folks is whenever possible don't spend money on your boat unless it is needful. If you have something and it is working roll with it until it is past its sell by date and needs replacing and only then make your decision.

By the way I sailed and lived aboard a Flicka for several years... The Dana is a GREAT boat!
