400 Years of COAL! Thats a big ass lie. These morons can’t do simple math. They ALWAYS state “At current consumption rate”. Well if you start converting it to gas then consumption rate WILL go up. If consumption increases by just 7.2%/year then consumption doubles every 10 years.

Hell even if it only increases by 1%/year it will double in about 70 years. Considering that world population is growing at better than 1%/year that 400 year figure drops to only 180 years by just keeping up with population growth with no new uses.

Bottom line is there MIGHT be 400 years of coal if and only if consumption does not increase at all. So gasification is just a pipe dream.

Don't believe, do the math!
